Powers & Pantheons Version

When priests cast a dying curse spell, they are avenging themselves against future death. Anyone who kills the priest, even if the priest is later resurrected, becomes the victim of a major curse with no saving throw (thus the major curse is automatically permanent). Only a wish or remove bane spell can remove this curse. (See the entry on Nephthys for the major curse spell.)

Priest's Spell Compendium Version

A priest casting a dying curse spell seeks to avenge a future death. Anyone who kills the priest – even if the priest is later resurrected – becomes the victim of a major curse with no saving throw. The effects of the curse are determined randomly (see table). The effect is permanent until removed. Only a wish or remove major curse spell can remove this curse.
